The role of rubber discs in rubber disc check valves:
During forward flow
1.When the fluid flows from the inlet of the valve to the outlet, the fluid pressure exerts an upward force on the rubber disc.
2. When the fluid pressure is greater than the valve opening pressure, the rubber disc is subjected to pressure,bending upwards and fitting onto the valve opening, al lowing the fluid to smoothly pass through the valve and enter the downstream pipeline.
3. When the fluid pressure is less than the valve opening pressure, the rubber flap will return to the closed position of the valve, preventing reverse flow and effectively avoiding the backflow of the medium.
During reverse flow
4. When the fluid attempts to flow backwards from the outlet of the valve into the inlet, the reverse fluid pressure produces a downward force on the rubber disc.
5. When the fluid pressure is greater than the valve closing pressure, the rubberflap is subjected to pressure and bends downwards to fit against the bottom of the valve, thereby preventing reverse flow and protecting the safe operation of the system.
From this, it can be seen that the rubber disc plays a crucial role in the rubber disc check valve. The rubberdisc is made of steel plate, steel rod, and reinforced nylon cloth as the substrate, and the outer layer is covered with rubber. The valve disc switch life can reach 1 million times.
